London is always a vibrant city and consistently provides significant opportunities for businesses. According to research published by London & Partners and Dealroom, it is the leading EdTech hub in Europe and among the top 10 globally in the EdTech sector for the total value of VC investments in EdTech companies, amounting to $630 million since 2014.
The English capital ranks ahead of giants like Beijing, Shanghai, and San Francisco. In 2021 alone, EdTech companies based in London raised a total of $124 million in investments within an EdTech ecosystem estimated at $3.4 billion, making London’s ecosystem the largest in Europe.
Gameful Ltd among the startups at SMAU London 2023
In recent days, those who have followed us on social media have seen our participation in two important events for a startup like ours: TechItalia Meetup – Spring edition, of which Salvatore Mica, also a founder of Gameful, is a mentor, and Smau – London.
It was crucial for us to present our e-learning project in all its facets: the BRAVO! and LEARN! LMS platforms that allow all trainers to independently create their online courses, also leveraging the potential of gamification.
Together with Celine Berger, founder of RecrèAction, we demonstrated how training on workplace safety can be made fun and effective with microlearning.
During the two events, we had the opportunity to engage with other startups and investors, envisioning new developments and frontiers.

ITALIAN ECOSYSTEM IN LONDON
As the innovation and startup capital, London today continues to offer a lot to the fintech sector (with over 2,180 companies in this field) and also in areas such as artificial intelligence, healthcare, and edtech. Its startup ecosystem is valued at $142 billion.
The Italian Ecosystem in London keeps pace with the growth of the London capital and becomes increasingly diverse and stimulating, thanks in part to significant networking initiatives created by entities such as SMAU, the Italian fair dedicated to innovation for businesses, startups, public entities, and enablers.
